Ingredients 

  • 1 tablespoon Doctors’ Choice Rice Bran Oil
  • 1 tablespoon cumin seeds
  • 1 cup chopped onions
  • 1 teaspoon chopped garlic
  • 1 teaspoon chopped ginger
  • 1 teaspoon chopped green chilies
  • 1 teaspoon red chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala
  • Salt & black pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon kasuri methi (dried fenugreek)
  • 1 teaspoon cumin powder
  • ½ cup tomato puree
  • 1 tablespoon ginger garlic paste
  • ¼ cup crumbled paneer
  • 1 cup fried paneer cubes (shallow-fried in rice bran oil)
  • 4 cups cooked basmati rice
  • 1 teaspoon chopped fresh coriander 

Step 1: Heat it Healthy

Start with 1 tablespoon of Doctors’ Choice Rice Bran Oil in a wok or large frying pan. Heat on a medium flame.

Step 2:Cumin Crakle

Add cumin seeds and let them sizzle for a few seconds until aromatic.

Step 3:Saute Aromatics

Add chopped onions, garlic, ginger, and green chilies. Cook until the onions turn golden brown.

Step 4: Spice it Up

Mix in red chili powder, turmeric, garam masala, salt, pepper, kasuri methi, and cumin powder. Stir well to blend.

Step 6: Introduce Paneer 

Add crumbled paneer and shallow-fried paneer cubes. Toss gently to coat with the masala.

Step 7: Add Rice & Combine

Now, add your cooked basmati rice. Fold gently to mix everything evenly without breaking the rice grains.

Step 2: Garnish & Serve

Top with fresh coriander and serve hot with raita or plain yogurt for a wholesome meal.
