Dry Andhra Pepper Chicken Recipe

Ingredients

  • 500 gm chicken drumsticks
  • 10 gm turmeric
  • 50 gm ginger-garlic paste
  • 100 gm green chili paste
  • Salt to taste
  • Doctors’ Choice Refined Sunflower Oil
  • 50 ml lemon juice
  • 5 gm cumin seeds
  • 2 gm curry leaves
  • 100 gm onions
  • 50 gm coriander powder
  • 50 gm crushed pepper
  • 50 gm coriander leaves

Procedure

  • Chop onions and coriander leaves
  • Marinate the chicken with turmeric, ginger garlic paste, green chili paste, salt and lemon juice
  • Heat Refined Sunflower Oil in a pan and add cumin seeds
  • Once they crackle, add the chopped onions and saute them until golden brown
  • Add the curry leaves, coriander powder, and crushed pepper. Saute them for 2 minutes and then add the marinated chicken
  • Sear on a high flame and then reduce the flame cooking it all for roughly 15 more minutes
  • Sprinkle chopped coriander leaves and cook it for 2 mins
  • Garnish it with chopped pepper and coriander leaves and enjoy with white steamed rice
