How To Cook

For the Gravy

  • 2 tbsp Refined Sunflower Oil
  • 7 garlic cloves-  either finely chopped or grated as per your convenience
  • 5 tomatoes pureed to a paste
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 tsp corn flour, mix is well with 2 tbsp water
  • 1 tsp Italian herbs
  • 1 tsp red chilli flakes
  • ¼ cup grated cheese
  • Salt to taste

 

For the Veggies

  • 2 big potatoes, cut them into small fingers
  • 1 diced onion
  • 1 diced carrot
  • 1 diced tomato
  • ½ cauliflower cut into pieces
  • ¼ cup blanched sweet corn
  • 6 french beans, make sure to cut them into 3
  • ½ cup chopped capsicum
  • 2 tsp Doctors’ Choice Refined Sunflower Oil
  • ½ tsp Black Pepper Powder
  • Salt to taste

 

For the Garlic Bread

  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 7 garlic cloves, crush them into a paste
  • ½ cup grated cheese
  • ½ tsp red chilli flakes
  • 1 tsp Italian herbs

For the Pasta

  • Water as per requirement
  • 1 ½ cup penne pasta
  • 1 tsp edible cooking oil

Procedure

  • Start roasting the veggies
  • Heat a pan and roast the potatoes with the other veggies
  • Add salt and pepper to the mixture. Once done switch off the flame and set them aside
  • Heat another pan on a low flame and add in the garlic. Fry it for 1-2 mins until the garlic is light brown
  • Add in the pureed tomatoes & salt and let it simmer for roughly 4-5 mins
  • Add in the tomato puree along with the corn flour mixture
  • Add in the cheese and spices and ensure to mix it all well
  • Take a cooker, add in the water and oil for the pasta. Make sure to cook it for just one whistle
  • For the garlic bread, take a round container, place it on top of the bread and cut it
  • Add butter and mixed herbs to the crushed garlic and mix it well
  • Heat a skillet with garlic butter and place the bread on a low flame. Close the pan and let it cook for roughly 1 min
  • Toast the bread and add the cheese in the center. You can also prepare them by preheating the oven for 5-6 mins at 180 degrees
  • To assemble the sizzler, grease the pan with butter and line up the pan with cabbage leaves
  • Place the pan on the gas stove on a low flame. Once the pan is hot, arrange the roasted veggies, garlic bread, and pasta
  • Heat the pasta sauce and pour it over the pasta, veggies, and on the garlic bread. Sprinkle more cheese on the top
  • Enjoy the flavors of Italy with your loved ones
