Restaurant Style Palak Paneer

Ingredients:
For the Palak Paste:
- 5 cups water
- 1 bunch Palak
- 1 inch Ginger
- 1 Garlic Clove
- 3 Green Chilis
Other Key Ingredients:
- 3 tsp Physically Refined Rice Bran Oil
- 1 tsp Butter
- 11 cubes Paneer
- 1 tsp Cumin/Jeera
- 1 inch Cinnamon
- 4 Cloves
- 2 Cardamom/Elaichi Pods
- 1 Bay Leaf
- 2 tsp Kasuri Methi
- ½ Finely Chopped Onion
- ½ Finely Chopped Tomato
- ¼ Cup Water
- ¾ tsp Salt
- ¼ tsp Garam Masala
- 2 tbsp Cream
Method:
- Take blanched palak, 1 inch ginger, 1 garlic clove, and 4 green chilies
- Blend the same into a smooth paste without adding water. Keep it aside for a while
- Now heat 3 tsp of Doctors’ Choice physically refined rice bran oil in a large kadai along with 1 tsp butter. Roast the spices till it brings out an aroma
- Add ½ onion and saute till it turns golden brown
- Add ½ tomato and saute till the tomatoes turn soft
- Add the prepare palak paste, ¼ cup water and ¾ tsp salt
- Miss the entire paste well to ensure good consistency
- Add the roasted paneer and mix well
- Simmer it for 5 minutes till the paneer absorbs the flavor
- Turn off the flame and add ¼ tsp garam masala, 1 tsp kasuri methi and 2 tsp cream. Mix it well
