Ingredients:

For the Palak Paste:

  • 5 cups water
  • 1 bunch Palak
  • 1 inch Ginger
  • 1 Garlic Clove
  • 3 Green Chilis


Other Key Ingredients:

  • 3 tsp Physically Refined Rice Bran Oil
  • 1 tsp Butter
  • 11 cubes Paneer
  • 1 tsp Cumin/Jeera
  • 1 inch Cinnamon
  • 4 Cloves
  • 2 Cardamom/Elaichi Pods
  • 1 Bay Leaf
  • 2 tsp Kasuri Methi
  • ½ Finely Chopped Onion
  • ½ Finely Chopped Tomato
  • ¼ Cup Water
  • ¾ tsp Salt
  • ¼ tsp Garam Masala
  • 2 tbsp Cream

 

Method:

  • Take blanched palak, 1 inch ginger, 1 garlic clove, and 4 green chilies
  • Blend the same into a smooth paste without adding water. Keep it aside for a while
  • Now heat 3 tsp of Doctors’ Choice physically refined rice bran oil in a large kadai along with 1 tsp butter. Roast the spices till it brings out an aroma
  • Add ½  onion and saute till it turns golden brown
  • Add ½ tomato and saute till the tomatoes turn soft
  • Add the prepare palak paste, ¼ cup water and ¾ tsp salt
  • Miss the entire paste well to ensure good consistency
  • Add the roasted paneer and mix well
  • Simmer it for 5 minutes till the paneer absorbs the flavor
  • Turn off the flame and add ¼ tsp garam masala, 1 tsp kasuri methi and 2 tsp cream. Mix it well
